NEW REGISTRATIONS: (You do not have a Maine Trailer Plate)

1. Complete the on-line application
2. Pay by credit card or mail a check
3. Print Power of Attorney form, complete and have notarized
4. Mail the original notarized power of Attorney Form with PROOF OF OWNERSHIP

PROOF OF OWNERSHIP:

1995 or newer:

• Copy of title from any state with your name printed on the front or
• Original title from any state with your name hand lettered and signatures of seller and buyer on the back and
  • You must obtain a title in your name (with your name printed on the front) or
  • You may add $55 and we will obtain that title for you

1994 or older:

• Copy of title from any state with your name printed on the front or
• Original title from any state with your name hand lettered and signatures of seller and buyer on the back or
• Prior registration from any state with your name printed on the front or
• Notarized Bill of Sale with your name as a purchaser

If you are leasing:

1. Copy of lease agreement and
2. Copy of owner's (lessor's) title with the owners name printed on the front

RENEWAL REGISTRATIONS (You already have a Maine Trailer Plate)

1. Complete the on-line application
2. Pay by credit card or mail a check

If this is your first time using our service:

1. Print the Power of Attorney form, complete, have notarized and mail the original
2. Mail us a copy of your current State of Maine registration.

TRANSFER REGISTRATIONS (You already have a Maine Trailer Plate in your name and are transferring to a different trailer)

1. Complete the on-line application
2. Pay by credit card or mail a check

If this is your first time using our service:

1. Print the Power of Attorney form, complete, have notarized and mail the original
2. Mail us the original yellow copy of your existing Maine registration. (keep a copy in your vehicle until you receive renewal registration)

NOTE: plates will be mailed first class postage in approximately 10-14 business days after we receive your documents.
